Brianna George is a singer/songwriter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She has completed a 4 song EP of her own music produced by Jay Semko (of the Northern Pikes) and Ross Nykiforuk (collectively known as the Cosmic Twins) and mastered by Peter Moore. It was released independently in November 2004. Brianna has been writing and performing her own music for the past few years in Canada and Australia, and is expanding her musical frontiers to the rest of the world.

Brianna has a wide range of musical and theatrical experience ranging from performing the lead roles in musicals to performing her own music in various venues, singing in choirs and recording radio and T.V. jingles. She has extensive classical musical training and experience (highest mark in Saskatchewan for a vocal exam, Royal Conservatory of Music, 2002, and other awards for piano) and is a former member of the Fireside Singers (directed by Marilyn Whitehead). Her influences range from Norah Jones to Muse. Brianna is bilingual (English and French) although she is currently writing in English. Her passion for writing and performing her own music is truly contagious.

Brianna has performed at many different venues in Saskatoon (McNally Robinson, Lydias etc), Toronto (Clinton's, Chapters Book stores etc.) and Brisbane, Australia (The Powerhouse) and also performs for other functions including weddings and funerals. Brianna has performed at many provincial and national events in Saskatchewan including "Good Morning Canada" with Jay Semko, the 2004 'Taste of Saskatchewan Festival' and the 2004 Nokia Brier (Canadian Men's National Curling Championship). Brianna's recording experience includes several recordings of originals done at Harris Institute for the Arts (Toronto), 4 song EP of original music, duets she performed with Jay Semko (Northern Pikes) for his second solo album, and the Fireside Singers album "Songs for the Soul" (2004) on which she is a featured performer for 'The Prayer' (by Sager & Foster). She has also done voice-overs for ringtones in both Canada and Australia (including Impersonations of artists) and voice-overs for commercials in Saskatoon (Radio and T.V. jingles). She sang the part of "Young Angela" for the animated Christmas TV show "A Fairytale Christmas" (aired in 2005). Brianna also co-produced an EP for Anique Robitaille while attending Harris Institute for the Arts.

Brianna has many years of experience in music and theatre. Her 9 years of singing lessons (grade 9 Royal Conservatory level) with Marilyn Whitehead and Diane Phillips and 11 years piano lessons (grade 9 Royal Conservatory level) with Cheryl Steponchev and Diane Phillips have shaped her life as a musician and performer. Brianna was a member of the Fireside Singers directed by Marilyn Whitehead for five years and is a featured performer both in concert and on the 2004 recording "Songs for the Soul".

Brianna has been involved in many musical productions. She played the lead role of "Joanne" in Evan Hardy Collegiate's musical production of "Godspell" (2003), was a dancer in Saskatoon Gateway Players musical production of "The Wizard of Oz" (2003), took on the roles of "Hodel" and "Chava" in Evan Hardy's musical production of "Fiddler on the roof" (2002), played the part of "Leisl" in Evan Hardy's musical production of "The Sound of Music" (2001), played the part of "Oliver" in Evan Hardy's musical production of "Oliver" (2000) and took on the role of "Amaryllis" in Saskatoon Summer Players musical production of "The Music Man" (1995).

Brianna enjoys every aspect of the arts and has studied dance (Jazz) and clarinet. She is currently learning to play the guitar to have an alternate instrument of accompaniment for her compositions.

Brianna has received numerous awards and accomplishments for her music. She received a special "Musical Career Award" from Evan Hardy Collegiate in 2003 for being the only student in Evan Hardy's history to have had a lead role in every musical within their four years at high school. Brianna completed her grade 8 singing exam (RCM Examinations) with first class honours in 2003 and her grade 6 singing exam (RCM Examinations) with first class honours and distinction in 2002 (receiving the silver medal for the highest mark in Saskatchewan). Her grade 8 piano exam (RCM Examinations) was completed in 2000.

Brianna was recognized at Evan Hardy Collegiate for her involvement in the performing arts receiving the "Spotlight Award" in 2002 and in 2001 and receiving the "Soul Encore Award" in 2000. Brianna's success in the Saskatoon Music Festival has won her scholarships, performing singing, piano and clarinet.

Brianna holds an honours diploma from Harris Institute for the Arts in the Producing/Engineering program. She has several years of experience working in the music business in mobile entertainment, as a music programmer. With this role, she has worked with major and independent record labels, programming ringtones and fulltrack audio to be available from mobile phone providers.
